This February the Paperpunch Pacers have taken on Irish Heart Foundation’s Run 100 challenge. The Irish Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization in Ireland that is dedicated to reducing death and disability from heart disease and stroke. The challenge invites participants to run/walk 100 km throughout the month of February. This initiative is to encourage people to take up running/walking to improve their heart health while raising awareness about heart disease and stroke.
We are raising funds for the Irish Heart Foundation throughout the month, these funds will help the foundation conduct research, provide education on heart-healthy living, and advocate for policies that will help reduce the burden of heart disease in Ireland.
We have all been out in the fresh air getting our km’s in. It has sparked some friendly competition within the office to see who can get the most km’s by the end of the month.
