The General Data Protection Regulation is a new Europe-wide law that replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in UK. GDPR sets out requirements of how organisations will need to handle personal data from 25th May 2018. The introduction of GDPR will see significant fines enforced on those who have not shown they have taken appropriate measures.
